Two hours after passing Ifran, you’ll get to Ziz Valley. It’s a place where you can stop and look at amazing cliffs that drop down into valleys full of palm trees. If you keep going for about two more hours, you’ll find Errachidia, a city with busy markets on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

The easiest way to explore these deserts is by going with a tour guide who knows the area well.
